Shoyu is an Izakaya Ramen bar located in Wicklow, Ireland, where the goal was to create a contemporary, street-style dining experience. Moving away from traditional Japanese restaurant aesthetics, I developed a modern identity using Covik-Sans, a neo-grotesque typeface designed to emphasize beautiful negative space. These unique shapes were incorporated into a custom infographic to break down the five key components of ramen. This branding was created in collaboration with Bad Apple Creative.
